Company Description:

We are Nathan and Savannah Bennington, proud owners of Simply Modern Scents. Nate and I have always loved candles as a means to personalize our space and make it feel more like a home. We first began candle making as a hobby with an interest in creating cleaner burning candles which quickly gained the interest of those around us. We dreamed of having our own candle business and in 2022, we decided to take the leap of faith to chase our dreams and launched Simply Modern Scents. We began our company with a specific vision to not only have products that are clean and smell amazing but also elevate the aesthetics of our customers’ spaces. Our products are hand poured in small batches using organic coconut soy wax for all of our vessels and wax melts. In addition, each of our candles includes with a crackling wood wick and beautiful hand-crafted wood lids for the perfect finish.

Many of our scents are subtle nods to some amazing memories over the course of our lives, such as the smell of sweet honeysuckle where Nate and I both were raised in the beauty of lavish countryside or the smell of delicious buttercream as we baked with our grandmothers. We believe each space tells a story and we would love to contribute to curating your story with your loved ones.
