Company Description:

Lou + Teak specializes in refinished antique and vintage furniture curated with modern yet affordable furniture and home decor. We have both a storefront in the Reading Bridal District and a mobile retail trailer we use for local markets.

All vintage furniture is refinished by the shop owner, Katie, who has been refinishing vintage and antique furniture since before her children were born. Her passion for creating beautiful pieces for your home are obvious in the finishes and details. If you already own a piece that needs to be refinished, contact us for commissioned work.

Some of the concrete work found in the shop are the handy-work of Matt, Katie's husband. After creating concrete countertops for their home in Cincinnati, he fell in love with the art and continues to make other items such as planters and light pendants for others to enjoy.

Katie also creates wood and fiber home decor - utilizing different techniques such as traditional woodworking, laser cutting and engraving, paper arts and macrame.

Some of the home decor you will find in our shop is by small businesses focused on a sustainable home and earth. Most of the makers we buy from can't be found on Amazon and have given us zip code protection. We also carry sellers that are local to Cincinnati.
